rockshox sid remote lockout broken

I have a SID with a remote lockout (the one lever type).

After a ride this weekend, its stuck in the unlocked position. If I hold it down, it locks out, but will not click into place.

Is this a problem on the fork itself, or the lever?

Any comments will be appreciated

You probably need to loosen (or maybe tighten) the cable just a fraction.

 

Try manipulating is manually (pulling the cable housing etc) to see if you can lock it, or see if it's too loose or tight. If it is a tension issue, you'll need to use a 1.5mm allen key.

The lever has the cable lock mechanism in it so it may require adjustment (unlikely) or may have failed internally in which case a new poploc lever and cable will be necessary
