Silverback Ventura OR Merida Matt

Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on an entry level bike, either the Silverback Ventura OR Merida MATTS TFS 800-D - MTB Hardtail?

Silverback... got one and love it...

 

SB is light and the parts are bulletproof

Ditto for the Silverback, i'm a fan of Merida having owned one, but i prefer Silverback. I found the handlebars that came fitted standard on the Merida is too long where as the Silverback has a shorter one.

 

For a bit more you could get the Spectra which comes with 10spd SLX shifters,XT derailer and a Rockshox recon gold suspension fork.
