Bike rentals - any ideas

I have 2 friends coming to visit from Holland and they want to do a 9 day bike trip and are looking to rent decent trail bikes or hybrids (this is what they own in Holland). The cheapest I've been able to find is R200 /day, which seems a bit pricey - anybody got any ideas

I'd buy 2 entry level bikes for say R2500 and sell them after 9 days for R1000 each.

i was looking at renting bikes the other day for a family member, the price i got was 280/day for a decent hardtail, its almost criminal to rent rather buy and resell on the hub i might be interested.

Try Cape Town Cycle Hire, I used them last year.
