Also always check the specific manufactures sizing chart, an XL Specialized and XL Giant might not be the same. For example Scott’s website has a suggested sizing chart for all their models.

185........... most likely a large at max. could even be medium.

 

I am 183 and had a M Merida which felt to small.

 

Now have a large 29er Giant which fits like a glove.
