Did any of u see the winning time for the 88km race? 2:00 by a rider in G!!! weird part is the A bunch clocked a time of 2:21....so is it possible that a G rider couldve passed them and still won by an extra 20minutes!!! or is it a mess up by racetec.

Of course its not possible - the guy obviously took a short cut or slipped onto the short route by accident. I'm sure a hundred people have already e-mailed and phoned Racetec about it though and it will probably be fixed in the morning.

well i did see a rider way ahead of the main Peleton when i came over OKW ( did the 58km) he was at the mall........

main peleton was still rounds the corner half way up from Ocean view........ not sure if he passed them and they did not see ........

By the way the 2010 winning time was ........ 2:18:20 and that was a league race so all the big guns was out ...... winner was from Cape Town Market/Nobel Energy..........

If He started In G and caught up with A and finished in the bunch with them, He would theoreticaly be way ahead because they started 20 minutes before him.

Theres anothe thread about the rollercoaster, I think the guys said its legit.

Nope, not possible. He would have needed to have actually passed the main A bunch and I'm sure I would have noticed! Aside from anything else if he rode solo at 44km/h then he would be in the Pro Tour not G!

Definitely not possible - unless he was towed by a motorcyle!
