Hi everybody,

 

i'm from Brazil and going to visit Pretoria, Centurion and Cape Town in the next 2 weeks,

i relly need a new bike and i'm considering to buy in South Africa, as in Brazil, good bikes is too expensive

because the high taxes.

 

My sight is a Scott Aspect 55 or similar, not to much expensive!

 

what dou you sugest me?

to buy in fisical Store in one of this cities?

if yes, where?

 

or buy online? (remembering that i'm staying few days in each city)

For Scott, try Cajees in Centurion - they sometimes have good prices.

i pay only 50% of tax if i bring with me in the airplane,

 

if i import, or if i buy here in brazil, i pay more than 100% of taxes.

 

Its a shame that this stores doesnt have a price list on their websites!

 

any chances that i could have a nice bike under U$800,00??

i found a store near my hotel, Cycles Labs,

and there i'm in doubt about two bikes:

What is better?

 

the KTM, is a little Expensive, but have a better Fork! while it has a worst brake (i guess)

and what about the frame? KTS is a good brand?

 

What do you sugest me?
