what saddle would you recommend

i go thru a saddle in about 2 years. it wears away on the sides and then the artificial leather peels up.

btw i've been thru 3 fizik's so don't recommend them.

i'm prepared to pay r300 - r500 for a saddle.

Your tight budget will not allow for a top end saddle, so you will never enjoy the privileges of comfort weight, performance and durability. Search the classifieds for a good second hand saddle, however the choice will have to be determined by yourself (and your ass), as we are all unique. I thought that Selle Italia was great, until I fitted a Specialized Toupe Body Geometry. Also very happy with my Prologo Scratch Pro.
