I have been in hospital this past weekendend with food poisoning . . . (A long story and getting health dep involved - leading restaurant served me dodgy chicken dish - As soon as I have all my facts straight I will share - name and shame)

Anyway , I have been on a series of antibiotics. Feeling much better now and would like to get on the bike.(This break could be just what my body needed? . . .) but my feet and legs are swollen and my body retains water ?

Does any body know why ?

Should I consult a doc ?

When can I train/race again ?

You better get all your facts very straight since the whole flippen world is full of severe gastro at the moment. Just because you ate there doesn't mean it was thier food. Incubation period on most food related gastro's are 48 hours.

Just saying.

Food poisoning if that is the case, could be different to the viral gastro that is going around and could be quite serious. Please forget about training and go see a doc to check if you fit.
