What happens when you combine a bike builder and a top-level design firm? Well, some pretty cool stuff! The Oregon Manifest Bike Design Project pits five design/builder teams from five US cities against each other to build the ultimate urban utility bike.
The winner will be announced this coming Monday, 4 August 2014. And, in partnership with Fuji Bikes will go into production hitting retail floors in 2015.
A few Hubbers were drooling over one of the entries "SOLID" earlier this week. Below are all five contestants.
Which would you pick?
The Blackline - By MNML + Method, Chicago
Merge - By Pensa + Horse Cycles, New York City
SOLID - By INDUSTRY + Ti Cycles, Portland
Denny - By TEAGUE + Sizemore Bicycle, Seattle
EVO - By HUGE Design + 4130 Cycle Works, San Francisco
