  1. It’s not, it’s an eBay Chinese seatpost, that happened to be a perfect colour match, and just £14.99
  2. Hahaha, Setup is not yet 'finished' saddle will come down a bit if I decide to keep this.
  3. Just 'finished' this off. Yet to cut steerer tube, but that will get done. Finished off at 6.57kgs
  4. My latest addition. I also have this frame inbound. 2016 Team bike. It will be built with Ultegra R8000, lightweight wheels and 3T finishing kit. It will take my Cannoodale tally to: 2 x Supersix HiMod's 1 x Caad12 1 x Slice I recently sold the black/chrome Supersix as the frame size just wasn't right. I normally ride a 56 and the 58cm was just wrong, even though I'm on the edge between the 2 frame sizes. Will get a group shot once the newest one is complete
  5. In this config, around 5.65kgs. Have a set of wheels that drops it to 5.23kgs Jockey wheels are MtZoom alloy with ceramic bearings and a carbon inner plate for the eTAP derailleur
  6. Happy wheel delivery day for the Supersix today
  7. New build just kicked off, got the frame for an absolute bargain on ebay. 2017 Hi Mod, Sram Force 22, carbon tubs, finsihed weight will be around 6.5kgs. I will use this bike for when I travel to keep the other Hi Mod safe from airline ground staff and it being tossed around. Pics to come once completed.
  8. Need a degree of comfort RE the bar tape, and with tubs leaking air, helium isn’t really worth it. I’m about to replace the stem and save 20grams and also selling the zero gravity brakes and replacing them to save around another 30grams. Once the new fork is on, I’m sure I’ll be down around 5.180kgs
  9. Couple updates to this build: Carbon bars 20mm Lay back saddle post Cannondale SiSL2 crank 1 bottle cage removed, replaced with fabric 'cageless' tool keg Ti axle keo's fitted Veloflex Record tubs Weight: 5.260KGs
  10. Couple updates to this build: Carbon bars 20mm Lay back saddle post Cannondale SiSL2 crank 1 bottle cage removed, replaced with fabric 'cageless' tool keg Ti axle keo's fitted Veloflex Record tubs Weight: 5.260KGs
  11. The position was VERY VERY wrong in this picture. it has since been changed with the shifters much higher up the bars, and the bars slightly rotated up as well.
  12. Thank you. They are tubulars from China, sub 1kg for the wheelset which was ideal for this build.
  13. Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi-Mod, eTAP, 5.7kgs
  14. Finally recently finished my 2018 'Best Bike'. this build evolved massively as I went. I ended up having the frame sanded back to bare carbon and then gloss clear coated. Another change was going from Sram Forcee22 to Sram red eTAP. The bike is sitting at around 5.7kgs, but there is room for savings of around 200grams if I change the bar and stem to carbon, but for now, I am happy with where its at. From this: To this:
  15. Not done much with my project SuperSix but I will get it wrapped up early next year in time for the British Spring and summer, as well as a week long road trip at TDF '18 Happy New year to all you 'Dale fans.
  16. Cannondalespares.com / cannondaleexperts.com Not sure on postage to SA from those to sites however.
  17. Back at this building lark. Decided to get rid of my Supersix Evo frame and get a Hi-Mod replacement. It arrived yesterday. I threw some parts on just to get an idea of what it will look like. Sadly living in the UK this will be strictly a summer bike, which means it'll get ridden for max 2 months of the year I will be detailing the build over on weightweenies.com (http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=148290) But for now, here is a sneak peak of what she'll look like when done. Goal weight for this build is 5.5kgs.
  18. Here is the basic build list. Frame and fork weight include BB and headset bearings
  19. The wheelset, minus skewers, cassette and tubs, weigh 988grams
  20. Rubbish pictures, but finished off at 5.775kgs for a 58cm non Hi-Mod frame, Im very pleased with the result
  21. Really do like the red/black color, and so much better without the spacers. Im trying to find a Hi-Mod as its the only way I can loose anymore weight on my supersix
  22. 2014 Cannondale Supersix Evo 6.260Kgs
  23. For this build I used a 3T 130mm -17 stem, as this frame is larger than my Caad12. I plan on buying the slam_that_stem bearing cover to get the extra couple millimeters lower.
  24. I had my Evo built over the weekend. I will be replacing the seat post with an inline post, and also replacing the bar for carbon. As it stands it weighs 6.260kgs, hoping with some different tubs (Veloflex Records) I can get it to just below 6kgs
  25. The cracked ones were off ebay, the replacements are Mt. Zoom and they are great. I was lucky enough to get 2 x Mt. Zoom for £25.00 instead of £25 each You can see the replacement MT. Zoom here. I would not recommend the ebay cages as they were of poor quality and to tight for standard bottles
