Took in some of the Surrey Hills this weekend

Not much to tell. 2020 Cannondale Systemsix Ultegra, pretty stock standard, just changed tyres, bartape and saddle.

Still allowed to ride outdoors in the UK, thankfully, I dont see that privileged lasting much longer however. Grabbed an opportunity to take my new bike for its maiden voyage.

New bike day last week. Sold my weight weenie Supersix and bought a 2020 speed machine. Very different bike for sure, but so far it feels great!

eBay is great for almost everything, except my wallet, and now and then my marriage, but a couple of surprises now and then keeps the missus happy and the bikes flowing.

So, completed the thing I did a couple weeks ago, was planning a crit bike, however, saw the need for a station commuter instead. and now I'm about to do another thing in the next week Will give it a clean, new bar, stem, seatpost and saddle along with fresh cables and possibly a chain. I'll add my lightweights to for a little extra flash. I will also get rid of the horrid flats.

With winds approaching 60mph (96kph) today, it was just a coffee ride to G!ro Cafe in the outskirts of London. Rain made it even more 'pleasant', 90kms was a good effort.

I have not posted this in this thread in the current config. Once upon a time it was 4.8kgs, but honestly the ride quality was terrible. It is now around 6kgs and is superb, comfortable, and a pleasure to ride. A couple of tweaks coming (hopefully), but not necessary and not a train wreck if they don't happen.
