For small parts like a mount or screws etc it was minimal. I don’t think it was more than 15/20% in total inclusive of vat.

Well done @NicholasH great event. Entered on Monday to appease the misses and ride with her group. Great day on the bike except for the wind 🫣🥹 Wrt e-bikes, I’m not sure how I passed 1500 (can’t remember the number) in the first 20min of the race and we started in the N group. He probably couldn’t keep the pace of +40km/h of the bunch he started in 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️ Were ebikes not supposed to start last? A group of E-bikes passed us in the last 20km which I thought was normal. It was great that they were together and minimal analogue riders on there wheel. I don’t think the policing at the start is to be blamed. it’s the skelm people being dishonest. Garmin and whatsapp moer the battery when sharing. Apple not so much, it only looks for the person once the someone is looking for them.

You can share location via WhatsApp as well its not the best, sometimes up to a 5min lag.

I’ve hypothetically done this a few times to Finnish with my wife. I would First remove timing chip then choose a Route depending on where he is when you’re done and taking into account how long it will take you to a point where you’ll meet up. So i would track my wife, check where she is when I’m done and “surprise” her. The first time I hypothetically met her in Hout bay at the bottom of chappies- via constantia neck. Hypothetical Second time on top of suiker, also constantia neck but took the first circle right so I skipped little suiker. Hypothetical Third time and quickest is to go over high level road and drop down into Campsbay. So best would be to check where your friend is and meet up at a point where he will be about 30min after you finish. Note: Marshals will not allow you to ride against the flow of the cyclists coming to the finish. They’re not really phased that you finishing again. But then again they don’t know it’s you’re second time.

@440MTB I had a similar fall on W2W stage 3 just before the WP1. It took about 5min to get my breathing back and collect myself. Got back on the bike and rode another 40+KM to the finish. I later found out that I moered these two loose (pic below), couldn't see on Xray but physical exam confirmed it. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to heal itself. There's no bracket, brace or sling that will help it. Only ibuprofen and painkillers. I couldn't laugh, else it would be sore.
