  1. My question. How many kids have been killed while towed behind a bicycle vs the number of kids killed in car accidents because they weren't strapped in? If I look at the number of small kids still standing on the front seat I think that the government are ignoring the bigger, unsolved issues while wasting time with smaller bylaws.
  2. 5. Whatever you do, resist the temptation to touch it with your tongue(really saw this warning on a product, must be for the Americans)
  3. That is the only way to meet new men. Also, at least I can differentiate between the true gentle souls who cares about women and the rest... lol
  4. I have been using both race king and mountain king without any issues for 2 years now. Know of someone else who has been having endless problems with beading coming off new tyres
  5. Also watch out for dogs. Got chased by one going pass the farm house 2 years ago.
  6. Hardtail - Front left, rear right. Softy - the other way around. Strongly considering standardising it as I often grab a hand full of the wrong brake...

    Argus crashes

I was the victim of a crash that happened between Ocean view and Noordhoek. Women stopped in the middle of the road(on a downhill) without warning. Guy in front of me crashed into her and I landed on the pile. Instead of finishing the race I spend the rest of the day in the medics tent and casualty. Fractured radius and ulna. Her excuse for stopping? "I was just looking for someone behind me"
  8. You guys are super organised. I battle to remember helmet, sunglasses, shoes, bicycle, tube, multitool. Frequently forget at least two of the above...
  9. It was fantastic to just spin the legs after a lot of pushing on Saterday. Riding crazy croc the day before made the river crossings look like childs play.
  10. Agreed. I've compared the geometry of different brands and for some the geometry of a medium male bike is exactly the same as a small women spesific. The best way to choose the best bike is to test ride as many different brands and types as possible and see which is most comfortable for you.
  11. Sweet, sweet smell of a successful stir
  12. Nationalisation will solve problems related to access to private property...
  13. Let's just say it was almost as slow and careful as my riding
  14. Suggestions?
  15. This is your second post with spelling mistakes. Does that mean that you should refrain from using electronic equipment(or English) because you can't use a keyboard to its full or possibly even half its potential?
