  1. Not sure the exact time must have been round 5:45 - 6. There were quite a few people on the road, I just happened to loose a group round a corner and was alone, guess he saw opportunity, it was a red hatch, it was an old car. Don't remember much except begging him not to hurt me and ripping out everything on my back pockets for him. Guess it was just opportunity and bad timing on my side to be in a gap at that point.

  3. I was mugged very early this morning, guy jumped out a bush while I was going up, push my bike so I feel over, pulled a knife and said he wanted my stuff, luckily I didnt have my cell but he got cash and an iPod, then ran cross the road to a parked red car. Was pretty shaken so dont remember much else, thanks to the cyclist that arrived just after and helped me. A lesson to myself, dont ride alone even on weekends when you think it might be busy.
  4. Thanks! Thats quite a change but I do understand the need. Thanks for the heads up
  5. I am going to ride this weekend, is it clear enough to try the snake trails? PoS, do you have any more pic's?
  6. oops sorry there is so much info, I must have missed it.
  7. Found this video and thought I would share, its so sad but also highlights how amazing he was RIP Burry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0rHPT8q-CM&feature=youtu.be
  8. Moonlightmass has organised a #rideforburry tonight in Cape Town, GP Circle starting 6pm, wear a black armband. Come show your support for a true legend!
  9. I am not so good with hard labour, digging etc but I can always bring you guys sarmies and a 6-pack of beer?
  10. wahahahahaha, YES I mean BUMPING! Clearly my brain is not working this morning
  11. PoS, not enough people say thank to you and the guys that volunteer, I am always dbumping into you guys there doing the hard slog work on a Sunday afternoon clearing up the trails to make a better experience for all of us that use, not to mention all your work talking to the SAN etc. So thank you, if more people helped more would get done quicker! PoS EDIT: You did mean "bumping", right.. please say yes!
  12. And here I was planning to go for a nice ride tomorrow... sigh I loved those trails... hopefully its not that bad, I mean Vasbyt is still an awesome track, so maybe after the felling it will change things up a little. One things for sure LOADS of sunscreen.
  13. It's no worth getting upset over and ruining that great feeling, besides now you can get a pair. Do you have personal all risk insurance? I lost a pair of mine at a race and they were replaced with no fuss at all.
  14. Yes we were on the left corner of the tent, with all the Trane riders (they are pretty recognisable). Will organise next time for sure always fun!
  15. I heard its good before but I wait till after... nothing like a cold beer after a race, pity there were only SAB beers yesterday, first Black Label in years, apparently you were there, should have come said hi, the gang were all in the beer tent.
