The Fox Float on my NRS 1 has a leak....and I want to replace it. Any suggestions? Anyone got one to sell? Pm me....

I have the choice between 2 frames - a Giant NRS 1 and a GT Avalanche 1.0. Both are decked out with 2010 XT, Rock Shox Tora, both have the same brakes, wheels etc... For X.C. Which one would you rather ride? Reasons?

Has someone in the Strand Somerset West area had a black Cannondale jump bike stolen? Couldnt see what type it was - Hayes discs, decent forks, again, couldnt see what they were. Was at Cash Crusaders and there was a dodge fellow selling it. CC bought the bike, when I asked for how much, they wouldnt tell me. It will be on their floor tomorrow apparently.

I usually try keep my HR in the aerobic zone while spinning. This involves slacking off a bit while the rest of the class carries on having heart attacks. Its training for longer distances that I want.... I asked the one instructor at VA why they dont do HR classes - he says most people dont understand HR and think more sweat = more fitness.....

Been doing quite a few spinning classes of late - the instructors dont work on HR, they work on pain... so which is better - Aerobic or Anaerobic? Any reasons? Thanks.

It seems we are - a grand for a pair of shoes to run in or close on a grand for a set of tires... and then wheels....and then frame....etc.... We MUST have the money, to be able to afford all of this!

I used to ride MTB and road... right now, all I have is my road bike... I love cycling, been doing it since I was a pikinin. Unfortunetly my career doesnt allow for much extra activities - I'm a chef.....and it doesnt help the spare wheel!!

Hmm, partner prefers me riding something other than the bike!!

Thats my problem - I am so lazy, I'll enter for a race, and then not bother training for it, and then a week before the ride I'll be crapping myself and going balistic, which doesnt do anything for me...

Hi all.. Yes, I am lazy. I used to ride years back as a sponsored rider (Anyone remember Robbie Dale cycles or Union Cycles?) Well, I want to get back in the saddle... not that I havent been riding, but I want to start riding as I used to. Now I need convincing. As I said - I am lazy. I'm needing tips in how to get my fitness back up, to lose that spare tyre I now have... and to start being competative again!! Any help, greatly appreciated!!

Arent they the same as Shimano Biopace? I thought it was proven that they werent that good.

The frame in the background was my grandfathers. He stood 6'9". THAT is a huge frame. Concorde Titanium - he died on that bike....

Kilo Master, what are you asking? I wouldnt be able to do that though, cause I need the legs for my own riding!!

Well, I'm not quite a noob, I used to be a B group rider about 6 years ago, and then suddenly stopped. Having been at Killarney on wednesday makes me want to get back into the top groups. Any training tips that you can offer, anything at all will be appreciated. Thanks Dan
