My daily job is to raise money for the elderly. I work at a Retirement Village. TRaining and planning is well underway. What energydrinks do you suggest?

Thanx all, FRAIL thanx for the routes. We also thought about the De Aar Route, cause the Colesberg route is not in a good condition. And maybe from Three Sisters stay on the N1 to Worcester, Villiersdorp and we stay over in Gordons bay. Do we need to get permission from the local government road agencies? During the winter are weekend cyclists, we attend spinning classes during the winter, when the weather's better we usualy ride about 50k's every second morning.

Group of about 10 adults. Road bikes. 7 months to train (to me this sounds scary). We are not in your league (sounds to me that you are "The King Of The Road) so we wil be travelling for 9 to 10 days depending on the route we take. We are still struggeling to find a suitable route. I am trying to find a way to avoid the N1, but that do not seem to easy. . We will have a marked vehicle travelling behind the group. This vehicle would carry supplies and spares. I am working on the financing. that would not be a major problem. Finding a suitable route and good training program is to priority for now.

So maybe he's on the road ....

We are a group of friends that wants to cycle from Bloemfontein to Cape Town next year before the Argus. Could someone that did someting similar maybe give me some tips? What to do, what not to do and some training tips, as one tends to get lazy during the cold winter months.
