  1. Hmmm, rumours of rain gods making an appearance at the Hell Of The North.
  2. FYI 5 weeks queue at Garmie (feedback from LBS) I am busy with a query with regard to moisture on my 830's screen Likely scenario will be a discount on the newest model
  3. 📸 @jeredgruber
  4. "Basically with the system you can choose between three pressures and the lowest pressure is the one I used on the cobblestones, the intermediate one was more for in-between sections because to pump again you need to push some watts, so I didn't want to push a lot of watts to go into too much higher pressure with too many watts. "And In the end for sure I put the higher pressure in the tyres to try to be as fast as possible." - PFP, reviewing her use of 'self-pumping tyres' and adjustable tyre pressure system after a solid performance at RvV in the Women's WorldTour
  5. If you lie in, you miss sunrise.
  6. “I was very ill for three days. So I can be happy with the race I did, I fought pretty hard, but I felt already from quite far that I was on the limit. I think Paris-Roubaix is less of a hard race than Flanders. You need a bit more luck as well in Roubaix, but we will see.” ~ MVDP, also caught up in a high speed crash with 129 kms to go pic cred @RvV25
  7. This is the first time that three former (or current) world champions have finished 1-2-3 in a Monument Classic since the 1967 Paris-Roubaix. @irishpeloton
  8. The fastest ever RvV at 45 km/h average. And it was windy out there.
  9. Fantastic to see Wout Van Aert back at the sharp end of this beautiful race again.
  10. Feels like Utah, just east of CalitzDorp.
  11. He declares it as his biggest win. Powless's sprint data after Fight Club at DDV. Impressive stuff to outkick the renowned sprinter and classics specialist in Wout Van Aert:
  12. Without courage we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.” — Maya Angelou
  13. DDV, Women Elite What a class act. ELB’s 50th victory as a pro. And her 1st in this race. Pic: @gettyimages
  14. Gotta love professional sport - the lows are very low and the highs are extraordinarily high, and tons of preparation, planning, execution and luck in-between.
  15. DDV: WvA to the media 🎤 “I'm fully responsible for this loss. It was me who made the call for the sprint. I was confident I could win the sprint, but in the sprint I cramped completely. I was just too selfish in the final. I wanted the victory so bad, especially after all the criticism I've been through and all the bad luck I’ve been through. I would say that for once, I was thinking about myself.”
  16. Rooibergpas, my beautiful country. 🐏🐐🌵🐑 Built in 1928 under the supervision of the Divisional Council of Oudtshoorn, it joins the tiny village ofVan Wyksdorp with Calitzdorp over the Rooiberg Mountain. It is best navigated with a high clearance vehicle as it contains some fairly rough sections. At 14 kms, there are a total of 69 bends, corners and curves which include 6 hairpins and many other bends with a turning radius in excess of 90 degrees radius. The pass has an altitude variance of 509m over a distance of 14 km.
  17. Gent-Wevelgem: Gusts all over most of EuroLand this weekend, it seems. Even the Catalunya race was shortened yesterday to a mere 28 kms or something and rerouted away from the mountains. BTW.. What a ride from Roglič and tactical master class from Red Bull Handgrohe! Another race of attrition and many of the top performers are legs up, getting reconnaissance rides in and getting ready for the Holy Week of the Spring Classics. Pics: TNT Sports
  18. If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness.
  19. 19 year old Matthew Brennan just took his 2nd stage win in Spain, wearing the GC jersey. Good enough, yes. Old enough for the big touring circus though France, hmmm. That opening stage win a few days ago - sensational.
  20. Beautiful racing! E3: A race of attrition and the lanky Dutchman who has Belgian blood rides away from time trial guru Top Ganna, the former rainbow jersey in Mads Peterson and a few other showing good form, thereby repeating his victory from 2024. 21. The softness of autumn 💟
  22. An impressive career, Bling has. Cool content. Enjoy.
  23. E3 or the 'Mini Flanders' in a few days. Perfect training for the 2nd Monument of the year. The rainbow jersey have committed to The Hell Of the North as he seems to be hunting for more Monument glory. Hmmmm... juicy. And, where in the world is Remco - will he show up somewhere to get into the peloton and rev his engine before the summer of Grand Tours? Pic: Rouleur website
  24. Such cool behind-the-scenes footage. UAE also has cool background YouToob content after MSR.
