Aaah, in this thread we're good with substitutions and practise days. Why in fact to most people they assume today is puzza Thursday, when we call it practise friday, you see? That way we make sure we get it right when real friday rolls round tomorrow or so we hope?? Cunning? Why not make this your practise spring day???

You wont catch me on that stretch ever! Not sure who thought it would make sense to divert the cycle lane along the BRT path entirely away from traffic and essentially having eyeballs on you. Without full time police presence there, it defaults back to a hotspot.

A long time ago I learnt you have to look people in the eye and some of them need you to think for them. Somehow looking someone in the eye is always a giveaway as to whether they will consider you or not. I can whistle really loudly and I use it when I approach intersections, scanning the drivers and showing them to stop. I literally lift my hand up and show them to stop, especially when I am at speed! Non cyclists have no perception of what speeds we can attain and what a suitable gap is. Glad you're OK!

Let's get this clear! Has anyone attempted to say we should condone doping and allow it in sport? Nope, didn't see any posts like that. Has anyone said Barry should not be banned for the 2 years?? Nope, even he is prepared to accept his punishment, however unintentional it was. What are the rest of us really on about then?? We're saying, stop making a farce out of the whole situation because targeting Barry is certainly not going to clean up doping in cycling WHERE IT MATTERS MOST and focusing this on him and other fun riders is a complete waste of bladdy resources! Oh and Swiss, not trying to change your opinion dude, just trying to add to the debate, which needs some perspective...

One of the funniest posts I have ever read on the hub is in the doping threads. Was a newspaper letter sent in that simply read: Can't understand why the whole world is giving Lance Armstrong so much grief about winning the Tour de France 7 times, yes, 7 times whilst doping. I can't even find my bike when I dope... Perhaps you're looking for this type of dope as well??
