  9. some customers should be receiving their frame-kits on Monday #bargain don't forget to add some nice FARR cockpit bits and bobs to complete the builds
  10. some frames leaving today
  11. nope - we don't have any special fatigue testing or wind-tunnel to test in like those other guys - but that is also why our pricing is realistic and we try to offer alot of value for our designs / products for years "boutique" brands have been heralding curved stays as more compliant and quite honestly, that makes alot of sense - as something curved is more naturally inclined to "flex" than something that is straight? here's another pic of this great frame
  12. We can store the frames for you guys - send when the coast is clear.
  13. tks - agree, #steelisreal and it will never be lighter or an alternative to carbon if you are looking for super light, gravel-racer. but if you looking for comfort + durability then STEEL/CROMO is the way to go! our frames use a custom-butted tube set , all the info can be viewed on the below technical drawing, some nice touches include the 31.6 seatpost ( more MTB like and makes it possible for dropper post etc... if you wanted to get ROWDY ) , internal routing on some cables, taper head tube with taller length, curved seat stays further complimenting Steel's natural feel and compliance. best guess would be a custom build would be in the R25k to R30k mark - you can easily source SRAM from your local bike shop - the local importers ( Cape Cycle Systems ) have a full range of cranksets, brakes, shifters, derailleurs etc in stock. you can save some bucks by using Sunrace Cassette / KMC Chain etc.
  14. great pics - thanks for sharing.
  15. finally back in stock. still just R 950 each - order yours here ps. your local bike shop is able to stock our products - they just need to contact us via our dealer enquiry page on our website.
  16. thanks - agree, we prefer to see these out on the gravel roads and trails instead of in cartons in a warehouse.
  17. you are in luck - the S ( 50cm seattube ) is gonna be a good fit
  18. some REALLY NICE examples of customer builds done - note: these are the prototype ( unpainted ) frames we originally got in. latest stock is all the final production versions - with paint and decals these are great bikes for LONG MILES and LONG DAYS in the saddle.
  19. same SHORT-NOSE design - just the width differs. STANDARD - 148 WIDE® - 155
  20. been a bit of a wait to get more of our popular GO FARR WIDE saddles - but have it on good authority stock NEW STOCK will be delivered tomorrow - so all backorders should be processed tomorrow. we have STANDARD version in stock ( with more arriving too -- still our most popular option )
  21. good luck probably looking at around 2.1 max for rear - some pics below of 700 x 40C Clement X'Plor fitted. a low profile 27.5" tyre should not be a problem.
  22. thank you! would love to see some more recent pics of your build.
  23. * FLASH SALE * LIMITED OFFER * on these incredible frame-kits /// now just R 3,999 and WITH AXLES and HEADSET. All Sizes are Available and SIZING and DETAILS are on the website here
  24. You could add some tape / sponge and make it tighter? We have seen that area used for LED light mount a few times. Or just be like Ramses - mount to the stem ????????
