  2. Always thought he was a humble guy but after the race and him complaining, he has lost my respect. He had the race in the bag and tapped of to soon and now he is shifting his loss to other factors but not looking at himself, Asshole.....

  5. Indola Enduro bib shorts work for me, Set you back between R900 - R1200 depending on the LBS price. Did my 2nd TransBaviaans on the pair I currently own and still going strong.
  6. Highlight - finishing 1:30min quicker than planned Low Light - 2 x Quad bikes on never ender riding at 20km/h in front of us and making a m03rse dust cloud to ride in, not cool
  7. Couldn't asked for better riding conditions. Was a great day out in the Kloof. Much better route than the LangsBaviaans... This is a definate Fixture on my Calender for years to come.

Must say the Mountain is not to bad now, been going there weekly for last 2-3 months, early morning and late afternoons, start from High Cape to Block house then Rhodes and back home, no sign of any troublemakers, only the odd Hiking couple or other cyclists. If there is being work done to keep it safe for us keep up the good work.
  11. For all the Experienced Trans riders, what will be a good time to get to check 3 to avoid going up and down Bergplaas in total darkness. thinking if you maintain a ave speed of 23-28km/h one should be fine. If someone can give a guidline this will be great help, Thanks
  12. The Wind Guru said that we have clear skies for the start in Willowmore slight NW of 4knots and same for the Baviaans with no cloud cover. Also no real threat of rain in the week leading up to the race, lets hope the Guru weather report holds....
  13. nothing wrong, he might need to go into Africa for Business and no flights back on a Friday, only Sat. But not confirmed yet so for now all systems go.

Just to put it out there, might need to sub my team mate for trans but not yet 100% confirmed. are there any provisional takers to join for this ride, wanting to do a 12-14 hour trans if it is faster than estimated time..... BONUS. PM me if there are any takers, but as mentioned for now he still in it to win it but could change in next week.
  15. If there is a route change this year again, when can we expect this confirmation, holding thumbs this does not happen.... Want to do the real deal not LangBaviaans like last year, got that medal with great difficulty....
  16. If the weather is like last year be prepared have loads of H2O can get hot out there. Also make sure u have a bit of Hill training behind you, I know the longer route had couple of steep climbs.

  23. I am looking at upgrading only the frame of my MTB, what are the Key Factors to look at when I want to transfer my componants and FORK from old bike (frame) to new frame? Looking at getting a carbon HT frame or Duel sus. PLSE HELP!!!!

Hi YOu need to speak to who ever is dealing with this for you and tell them to write a motivational letter asking customs permision to use the miscellaneous importer code of 70707070, this consist of saying you a first time importer, importing for personal use not for resale etc, anything that motivates your reasons to use this code, and if they still have a problem ask to speak to their supervisor, then if you still have a problem get me their name and no and will take it further for you.   25. Have You sorted this out yet. You only require a Imports/Exports code if you are a regular importer or Exporter but if you do this once of then they should use a general code for importers as yourself. I can not see any delay in getting your things released by customs if you have all the supporting documents (Invoice, list of Goods purchased etc). Will come back to you shortly with more details if you require it.
