Which gives you about 7 hours burn time.

So if I can get an second hand garmin edge 305 for 1k should I take it or rather not cause of the battery problems ??

Thanks for all the info i have done a bit of research on the garmin units and got a price from easygis.co.za for 2799 for the edge 500 and also got a price from cape union mart for the edge 305 for 2499. Which one of the two is better im not that into cycling so dont need top of the range stuff. And is it a good idea to buy 2nd hand stuff? No warranty worries me a bit. And you never know what it went through.(Falling and so on.)
