  1. Hi All, Just a question, what's the settings I must use on my Garmin watch when I use Zwift/My E-Training cuz when I select "indoor cycling" the watch is completely out of synch with the trainer? I did a 10km quick ride Yesterday on My E-Training but my Garmin said (Using the indoor cycling option) said I cycled like 114km 🤣 It does pick up the trainer on my watch in settings under sensors Is there something I need to do?
  2. Only reason I am using the My E Training app is the free 12month subscription. I do have Zwift downloaded but havent checked it out yet. And yes, I am waiting for the adapter. 1. I am still trying to figure out the circumference part and if 2310mm in the E Training and Garmin settings is the correct setting. I dont know what to put in there. 2. Also, I guess the sensor that is being picked up on my Garmin watch is the trainer ??? > Spd./Cad. 30607 3. When using the smart trainer, should I choose "indoor cycling" in the Garmin Watch as the activity?
  3. Hi all, So my local bike shop did order the 148mm adapter for me. You will need the adapter for a 148mm frame when using the Elite Suito-T so really hope this post can help someone in the future too. I have another question regarding circumference: I see the My E Training app have a setting which was on 2070 - Did some google and my MTB wheels is 2.25 which makes the circumference 2310, which I changed. When I connected my Garmin Venu 2 (Settings/Sensors) with the Spd./Cad. 30607 (Which I guess is the Smart Trainer) I saw the setting was also on 2070 However I did a test on the My E Training app for about 5 mins and the Garmin was saying I cycled like 2km but it was more like 100-200m so it was completely inaccurate. Just to mention, that was before I added the Indoor Cycling Option on the Garmin and before I changed both circumference to 2310mm I have not test it again as I am waiting for the adapter. I am scared I do damage to my bike and gears as I have noticed the back end moving and gears shifting by itself. Any help regarding the Garmin/Suito-T/Circumference setting would be appreciated. My E Training app screenshot attached. Some pics for ya'll to show how good it looks lol
  4. Ok will have a look tomorrow thanks. Any idea on the circumference? I see there is two rings that must be added before the cassette goes on. I don't know if the bike shop did this though, as that can possibly sort out the spacing issue But I'll check tomorrow and will provide feedback EDIT: I see I need to buy the adapter separately for 148mm. The elite boost adapter 12x48mm
  5. Hi all, So I did go for the Elite Suito-T Bought a Sunrace MZ903 12-Speed 11-51T Cassette to go with the trainer which the bike shop attached for me Did the setup at home but I am still using my own axle skewer from the Titan bike, the thick one and not the thin one from the trainer. Noticed I had to use two adapters which I added to the trainer, added my bike and tighten the axle to where it cannot go any further However I have noticed that the rear fork can still move a bit left and right, in other words there is like a half of cm each side that makes the axle not completed tighten to the trainer. There is a small gab each side. Is this normal and must it be like this or did I do something wrong? My chain also goes off the casette if I go pass the 12th gear, in other words if I accidentally press the shifter again I am using my Titan MTB I will take a photo tomorrow if you guys dont know what I mean. NOTE: Another question, what is the circumference that they ask for on the app? How do I know what is mine (Bike) ?
  6. Thanks for all the replies. For those that are using the Elite, do you to subscribe to the myEtraining app and lets say the Zwift app? Cant you use the Zwift app directly? Sorry I don't know how this works
  7. Hi All, Hope you guys are doing well. Its been a while Background: I have a 2022 TITAN Cypher RS Carbon Pro (100mm) and I am looking for an indoor trainer. I have two options for my budget: Wahoo Kickr Core, which I can get for R 12,999 or the Elite Suito-T which I can get locally here in town for R13,990 They mentioned my Cassette will be R 2650 (Is this correct?) Question: Which trainer should I get and is the 1k price difference for the Elite worth it? I've never had an indoor trainer but I don't mind paying 1k more if the Elite is any superior to the Wahoo. I want to buy the best for my current budget so more expensive trainers are not an option. Thanks for the help in advance Regards Johann
  8. Hi all, Still want some more advice on the below questions if possible please. Would appreciate the help. Regards Johann
  9. Sometimes I don't even want to ride this bike as even the slightest dust on the bike upsets me, l handle this bike with great care, care that my wife does not even know 😂 Never even washed my car as delicate as this beauty before 🤣 Nah I'm just kidding. I have a few questions for all you experts if you can advise and help: > Do I need to clean the group set/chain on a regular basis as I have noticed dust on the gears which makes like a putty paste after a few rides? > Also, how much chain lube do you apply after cleaning? A few drops or how does it work? > Is the best way to clean the gears with that chain cleaner liquid and a brush? Tried it but it does not seem to clean the gears 100% unless I am doing something wrong > What do you do to protect the bottom of your frame from gravel as its a gloss frame and even the slightest scratch is visible on the blue frame?
  10. Amazing bike. Loving every single moment, even climbing seems easier (Not Tierkop 😂 ) on this bike compared to my previous 2018 Scott Spark 940. We are blessed with some of the best roads and views here in George.
  11. What a beauty. Did a few rides by now and this bike hits different compared to my 2018 Scott Spark. Its faster and simply glides over gravel roads when you get the speed right. Its definitely a racing bike. Love it Bought some wrapping off cuts from a place here in George, want to wrap the frame just protect it from gravel damaging the paint job. Nervous to do it on my own as I don't want to make a mistake so will most likely just take the bike to the local store to do it. @Titan Racing Bikes EDIT: Oh and the bike sleeps in the home office, no way a thing of this beauty will sleep in the garage Regards Johann
  12. Lol what do you mean? The white stripes on the blue? That's light from the camera angles.
  13. Was away for a week in the Bosveld so will be collecting the bike tomorrow and get a proper fitment. First need to buy a helmet and shoes again as I sold that with my previous bike, stupid mistake but ahh well, new shoes and helmet will look good Some photos, couch pic to follow haha @Titan Racing Bikes Bike looks beautiful btw
  14. Thanks all. I went with the 100mm one as our local shop in George couldn't find the 120mm in stock. Would've preferred the 120mm one but ah well cant wait to ride again. Thanks for all the advice.
  15. Hi all Need some advice please. One the verge of buying the 2022 Titan Cypher 120 Carbon Pro (blue one) I have noticed there is two models, one with ROCKSHOX SID SL SELECT 100mm and the other with a ROCKSHOX SID SELECT 120mm, small difference on the rear shock, dropper on the one and tyres. Not going to do technical trails that much as I prefer the longer rides on normal gravel roads as I am a bigger guy (110kg) and don't prefer the technical quick trails. Will it be much of a difference if I take the 100mm version or will it be better to take the 120mm for more travel since I also weigh more then your average rider? Seems that we can only get the 100mm version locally but they can change the bike in order to make it the Cyper 120 Carbon Pro. Last bike was a 2018 Scott Spark 940 so will be upgrading to the above. I have already made my choice on one of the above unless you guys have different advice to take another model or even another bike in the same price range Thanks in advance Johann
