  1. Yeah more "prettiness", the fibreglass it was laid in with took the stress and was the main structure.
  2. No offense taken - Its the hub for goodness sake - So happy days I saw the thread, I try too stay as partial as I can. I like to soak up advice and to question it at the same time;) Thats the only way to learn
  3. I like the "feel" of my hardtail and the "smoothness" of the full suspension. Nice to have both though(if you can), thats why I would say keep it.
  4. For sure - point agreed about that:D
  5. Fair enough - Ill speak to a mate of mine that just bought some carbon fibre. He added it to a surboard he built himself
  6. Correct me if Im wrong, but laying carbon is pretty much like laying fibreglass, as long as you get the weave correct it shouldnt be a problem? When I worked as a model maker in the UK, guys I worked with layed up carbon all the time into furniture and said it was easy as pie. I could be wrong, maybe it wasnt in as much stress as a handlebar would be? Its a matter of getting you resin catalyst mixture correct
  7. Why not the smartest?
  8. Im sure it would be easy enough to do it.
  9. So why even sell hardtails then? I say keep it for XC type riding and trails. Also for a ride around on the beachfront/to the shop?
  10. Switch it about every now and again, keeps you on your toes
  11. Also the smiling faces/emotion thingys have gone faulty too? Can we also not get a crying emotion too?
  12. God, I would never pay 7k for lenses & frames( I was quoted by Moffat Optical to have Rudy's made up, they are there optical affiliation). I only paid R2100 for mine, Which is great value for that I got full prescription lenses(not Inserts) transition lenses with anti scratch & anti glare. They are the ones in the picture I posted.
  13. My apologies, didnt mean to offend you, youre right about selling a kidney to afford them though
  14. I take it you work for ASG? If the prices were more reasonable ( R7000 +) for a pair of made up prescription lenses then I would say go for it. There product is very good, but way to expensive
  15. That would be these - You could have two sets of these and still have change for the same price as Rudy Projects - Trust me you wil be paying WAY over the top for the Rudy Projects.
  16. Then what about the new size thats out there:unsure:. It would be like giving yourself a blow job
  17. Maybe if you brought your prices down and didnt have such a massive mark -up you would be selling more of them
  18. Sorry for the confusion, the painkillers & now cold & flu caps have me a bit "wasted: at the moment:blink:
  19. Well you need to find someone thats willing too experiment a bit more;)
  20. Is there a bike "computer" that does it all yet - Like a Garmin, that does heart rate, etc etc. An all in one? Thats what I want to add to my list for Santa
