Fitted some Shimano 600 components

Coming along slowly, must clean up the handle bars and rims, but needed to test fit all the components again

Green bits could be from the old paint still, will give it another wipe down with some alcohol and see...

After cleaning off the paint that was on it ???? what a mission ????

Had one of these frames that was painted by the previous owner... he had a Peugot frame and Alpina frame, I was under the impression this was the Peugot frame... wanted to see the original colour and decals underneath... cleaning the top layer off I saw a Pearl white paint frame with two tone bright / neon orange edges paint work and revealed this Alpina logo beneath... this frame does not have the usual Alpina engraving on the support posts just beneath the seat post... will clean the rest of the frame in this week and will post more pics ... any information or guidance will help please ????

@Spirogwow - now this is beautiful detail on this bike. I'm still trying to decide whether to go Red or White handle bar tape, i like the red cable touches...

Now that is a car ... we should keep in touch, i know a few guys with e24's csi's, and may even have a spare bumper... ive had my fair share of projects, had a nice 33ci cabrio, a 500 SL, a p1800, etc.. for now i just need to focus on this one, and help my boys with there projects

That's an e28, 520i, beautiful and fun car to drive... sold it end of last year as it wasn't ideal as a daily driver, but ...i do have an e30 318i project i'm working with my youngest son...

Finally kicked off my Hansom Super prestige Grand Sport road bike build - 62cm is fairly large frame, looks beautiful in its Candy Apple Red ???? I had some Pearl paint mixed up for touch ups, wasn’t cheap but worth it. Started with the degrease and cleaning of the headset bearings and compenents ... awaiting a BB tool for the sealed cartridge, then will inspect and see if I should rather replace if needed... Baby steps ...

Good day I have been trying to source some parts and finishing touches for my 70's/80's Raleigh Carlton, 531 Tubing, which I've owned for about 20 years, and was owned before that by a my late uncle who had it serviced regularly by Crown cycles here in the southern Cape... Life happened, Bike unfortunately stood by my kids garage for few years uncovered and i needed to curb any surface rust that started ... so sanded it down and painted it... will give it a proper finish again with warmer weather... So while I'm busy restoring some parts, I'm looking for the Original style Carlton Decals - does anyone know who has them available locally or can source them for me? (i've tried importing a few years back - but had issues with a UK supplier that said they don't send these to South Africa. Another sent never arrived ... hence the help needed I'm also looking for 27x1.25 white wall Tyres, the original style that was available in that era Suggestions for Best color handle bar tape? - thinking a brown to match the seat? Any leads or advice will be much appreciated
