The Great Ride – Western Cape Cycle Tour has “re-Launched,” with new pricing and an overall new format The tour is aimed at persons wanting to kick-off their cycling season (be it their mountain biking season or road cycling season), with the ideal training camp/ social cycle tour (for example, the Coronation Health Double Century is around the corner and teams now have the perfect opportunity to ride a section of the route together as part of their training). Cyclists will ride an average of 100kms per day, with one the longest stages being 140kms. We have some fantastic lucky draw prizes and goody bags (Musettes), up for grabs and this tour is not ‘cutting corners,’ on the safety elements at all (See: Rolling road-closures and safety escorts below). We also have some South African celebrity personalities joining us along the tour and this too will afford each rider the opportunity to ride and socialise with them.
