Thanks for your input. I currently ride a L Silverback Sido. Haven't felt uncomfortable on it but also haven't really tested a M before.
83cm inseam. Don't know saddle height.
My height is well within the medium frame size at 175cm but leg length in the large zone. Intend to ride XC marathon more than anything. Looking at purchasing 2022 Silverback Stratos CF Pro. Any suggestions on which size frame would be best?!
Have a look at link below:

It is a 8 week training program in preparation for the stage race. Training is heart rate based. Helped me with my last sani.
Thanks, So it looks like at least 11 hours a week to be prepared?
A bit more info would be helpful. You say you have only been cycling for 6 months. How many kms/hours do you currently do per week? Sporting background? - running, etc.
I am 47 years old. I currently ride about 7 hours a week. I completed one 45km race recently at an average speed of 17.5km hour with 830m elevation gain. So that's my fitness level at the moment. I played squash for a long time and recently took up cycling to avoid knee problems. I have been roped into committing to the 3 towers race in September but was wondering if that is going to be too much to get ready for in only 3 months?
How long does it take with reasonable weekly effort to get fit enough to complete a 70km a day 3 day Mtb race? I have only been cycling for about 6 months. Any advice would be appreciated.
