  1. Gutted. RIP Burry. So unfair
  2. Posted on ER24 timeline "...he's critically injured and remains on life support. The hospital are looking for any leads." Praying for this cyclist.
  3. I drove past this accident this morning. Posted on the ER24 Twitter time line: "Desperately looking for family of man knocked off his bicycle this morning on Witkoppen at St. Peters school. Pls contact JHB Gen Hospital!" I hope this guy is ok.
  4. Maybe not "so trivial" article in The Economist: http://www.economist.com/blogs/gametheory/2012/06/doping-sports?fsrc=scn/tw/te/bl/onceacheatalwaysacheat
  5. Some news on the RSNT saga..... http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bruyneel-wanted-to-motivate-frank-schleck?ns_campaign=news&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_source=cyclingnews&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0
  6. One very fortunate cyclist. Hope he recovers soon. http://blog.er24.co.za/2012/05/cyclist-survives-collision-with-truck/ http://blog.er24.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/N122-300x225.jpg
  7. Two grand tours in two years won on the final ITT. The real climbers are going to have to change tactics to beat the allrounders. Looking forward to TDF.....
  8. What an phenomenal Giro. looking forward to the TDF..... Whoop
  9. DQ'd or not. He wouldn't have finished yesterday stage. Hunter worked his butt off for Hesjedal on the Manghen and was bridging the gap to the leaders when he fell on the descent. He could hardly stand. He got a bike change but took such a long time to get going that the team car left him. Superdomestique!! http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/photos/races12/giro12/giro12st19jg-hunter.jpg
  10. Tweeet by Robbie Hunter. Body was stuffed after crash from yesterday & after being dropped i stopped on my own in the feed, was not DQ'd.not sure who invented this!!
  11. Strange tactics today. Great ride be De Gendt. Will Purito ride like the wind tomorrow.. in the opening prologue De Gendt was 3s slower than Hesjedal. Rodriguez was 14s slower.
  12. I like to sip a good glass of red if I'm at home watching. Especially in Winter...
  13. Tweets by Alberto Celani (Journalist) after the stage Gasparotto:"Martinelli wanted us to do our best,Kreuziger won alone. He had a bad day in Cortina,he's a great athlete and a true champion" Basso:"Plans can be messed up,Scarponi did it today on mine" Basso:"I was expecting to ride better.Congratz Hesjedal" Basso:"when I noticed I want able to keep Scarpa's attacks I saw better climbing my pace" Purito:"Stelvio didn't forgive great champions like Indurain,so be careful" Purito:"if Hesjedal keeps the leg,it's over,if u don't try u won't win" Purito:"I caught Pozzo's wheel to climb more regular,Scarpa is a shock when attacks.Tomorrow will be harder" Purito:"It will be difficult, now Hesjedal only can loose the #giro everyone have troubles today.I'm surprised by Hesjedal" Vinokurov:"Giro ends in Milano.Hesjedal can win the race.I will do TdF and Dauphine" Hesjedal:"I'm confortable on a TT bike, tomorrow harder than today.Nobody saves energies here" Kreuziger:"I'm happy coz my girlfriend is here todayā€¯ Kreuziger:"I was here for the overall not to win a stage,I'm still sad for Cortina" Savoldelli:"Today the teams were not a great help" Bergonzi:"scarponi and purito great pride but less legs" Pozzovivo:"high pace, natural selection,I was not feel great, the others were better than me" Scarponi:"I started too early,I wanted to squeeze the overall,Purito rode amazingly,he's great
