  1. Blaming Jasper is fun, but the boarding wasn't straight. Bini was looking for space where there wasn't any
  2. Roglic basically invented teleportation on punchy uphills. He hasn't looked his best but this is a 3-week race that is heavily backloaded and he is looking ahead instead of trying to collect a couple of bonis here and there. Remco will get covid on the first real mountain, Pogi will explode with Giro in his legs, Vinge will succumb to his injuries, and the true greatest Slovenian cyclist will stand on the top step in Nice
  3. saving energy so he can do backflips into the swimming pool on the rest day
  4. copium is one helluva drug. if Jonas doesn’t win it’s because of his suboptimal preparation. There is no possible scenario where anyone could be better than him and all of Denmark have my back on this. Any non-Jonas win will have an asterisk and basically doesn’t count
  5. He’s French. He wasn’t fined for stopping to kiss someone, he was fined because it was his wife and not a mistress.
  6. Tbf the rider behind him, Valentin Madouas, was fined and and penalized 40 sec for drafting. I don't think the riders coming in 60th place really care about the TT all that much.
  7. Guide to napping at the 2024 Tour de France: so you don’t miss any of the highlights of the Tour de France https://www.lemonde.fr/les-decodeurs/article/2024/06/28/guide-de-la-sieste-sur-le-tour-de-france-2024-pour-ne-rater-aucun-moment-fort-de-la-grande-boucle_6245031_4355770.html
  8. is that why women are so irrational?
  9. Yes but look at the price Jumbo has had to pay for that this year

  11. No If you win the Tour de France, fans would love to see you compete in the Vuelta a Espana. Is that something you would consider with this year also featuring the Olympics as well as the World Championships? “I don’t think so, no. One day I would love to wear the red jersey, but I can assure you that the Giro-Tour-Vuelta triple is not on the program this year. Winning every Grand Tour is a major goal for me, but to do it in the same year is perhaps a little too crazy. As you said it is also an Olympic year and there is the World Championships too. I think after the Tour we will see but the main goal will be the World Championships.”

  16. It was just a conspiracy theory that got a little out of hand during the tour last year i won't spam this place with the wall of text that is the "investigation" tl;dr ---- There are MANY ties between TJV and Vingegaard to bovine colostrum. Bovine colostrum has been found to have performance enhancing benefits, specifically in cyclist performance in time trials. Colostrum is NOT on the WADA prohibited list although it is discouraged.
  17. the tour is practically over now
  18. Jonas wife is preggers so him and wout will have a fresh batch of colostrum
  19. no news here, this place is just for toppies to argue about 26er vs 29er, rim vs disk brakes, should we carry guns or not ad infinitum
  20. dead to me. that is all it was good for. i don't care about which way i should sit on my bicycle to ride it or if a mountain bike can beat a gravel bike in a parking lot crit it is just going to be a glorified YouTube channel
  21. Jonas Vingegaard will ride the 2024 Tour de France, Visma-Lease a Bike tells B.T. The final decision has been made after two months of rehabilitation following the dramatic crash in the Tour of the Basque Country, where Jonas Vingegaard broke a collarbone, cracked several ribs and punctured his lung. And it certainly hasn't been an easy time, the reigning Tour de France winner admits: "The last few months have not been easy, but I want to thank my family and my team for their unwavering support. We have worked together to get here and I'm looking forward to finding out where I stand," Jonas Vingegaard says in a press release and continues: "I feel good and am very motivated." This gives the Dane the opportunity to defend his double Tour de France victory against arch-rival Tadej Pogacar, a fact that earns the respect and delight of his boss, Sports Director Merijn Zeeman. "I'm very proud of Jonas and our entire coaching team. He is coming back from a serious injury. In the last few weeks he has shown that he is a great champion - both mentally and physically," he says, emphasizing that you should not have too high expectations of the Dane: We don't know how far it goes yet. We are cautious because he has not yet been able to race. And because his preparation has been far from ideal. But he's there - healthy and motivated." Jonas Vingegaard will be joined at the Tour de France by perhaps the world's best support rider - Wout van Aert. The Belgian had his season plans shattered with a serious crash in Dwars door Vlaanderen and had to withdraw from the Giro d'Italia. Now he's ready to support Jonas Vingegaard "Of course this wasn't the plan, but with my progress in recent weeks, this was my wish and the team has agreed. Our big goal is to drive Jonas to a top position in the classification. I want to contribute to that on this strong team," says the Belgian. Visma - Lease a Bike's team for the Tour de France: Jonas Vingegaard (Denmark, 1996) Wout van Aert (Belgium, 1994) Sepp Kuss (USA, 1994) Matteo Jorgenson (USA, 1999) Christophe Laporte (France, 1992) Tiesj Benoot (Belgium, 1994) Jan Tratnik (Slovenia, 1990) Wilco Kelderman (Netherlands, 1991)
