Has anyone bought any Rapide gear before? I am looking at their stems and the price is very reasonable versus other brands out there. I dont know the brand name or the quality. Are they any good or should i rather fork out more money to get something decent?

I hope this is the correct thread. I have a Thule 2 bike carrier with my bakkie's number plate on it. We are travelling this coming weekend taking another car but with my carrier. Do i need to change the number plate or can i travel with my bakkie's number plate? What should happen if we get pulled over or get a fine and the number plates dont match? Thanks in advance

As mentioned before, this will be my first CTCT. I would like my wife to track my progress as they would like to wait at the finish line. Are there any apps available to track the ride and progress of the cycle tour?

Will it be a good idea to run semi slicks on a mtb for the race or stick with the offroad tyres?

What is the recommended tyre pressure for a 29er mtb doing the cycle tour? It is my first time riding the event and such a long road ride.

It will also be my first CTCT and with my hardtail. Looking forward to the vibe and beautiful views. Just starting to panic in terms of training as i only decided 2 weeks ago, and registered with my brother in law.

I love my hardtail. Bought a new 2020 merida big nine slx last year December as i upgraded from my old hardtail. Also, it was all i could afford, i dont have the moola for a full suspension bike. Yes there are techie sections you can't ride the way you want and need to choose your line, but for me it is about having fun, spending time outdoors and fitness.

Hi guys. Newbie on the forum from the western cape. I have a question. I would like to upgrade to a 32x50 but would like to test that first before i spend the money. Where can i try to find a bike with that gear selection to try it out before i buy? Thank you in advance
