I am starting to make Rietvlei my every saturday outing and would like to see the routs and do some sort of planning regarding my training. Ok so I take it that SRAM is pretty good... I checked out a Avalanche Expert yesterday with X7 shifters, Deore LX F/derailer and X9 R/derailer and I think I'm sold on it...I LOVE IT! J ust waiting for a price from my LBS....

Any comments on SRAM? Is it better than Shimano?
