  1. Hey, one for the TCS guys, they stayed and watched the entire race even though they were out - and cheered us on. Jason even had a water fight with me on each lap - even though I nearly took Crux out on a few occasions (sorry!)... Well done TCS - great to have some support - I needed it on Sunday.
  2. On the bike subject - why not wait for a month or 2 as the 2008 bikes are due out and you should get a really good deal on the older bikes. I picked up a Raleigh RC6000 for R6000 last year doing that. Maybe another option is to get a 2nd hand bike (one that fits them) and see if they really are keen on the cycling thing! Many people have bought new bikes etc and paid a fortune for them and not enjoyed cycling at all. Could save them a few rands doing that.
  3. I always have great service from CWC and recently bought more good from them. Why must I have to drive 60km's to places to get certain equipment when its a click away! I will always support CWC online and will always mention it to people who ask where I get my stuff from!
  4. 4 hours each maybe! In a car! (for me that is!)
  5. Ok, cool! No work tomorrow! I am in! 2 x Suikerbos! Eina!
  6. Ha ha ha! I wish! Natural beer drinker yes, cyclist no!
  7. Naa, that takes all the fun out of it... Besides I get to go past you twice if I do 2 laps!
  8. Ja ja Michelle!!! So I hear you are doing Suikerbos as well? Which car you using? Epoh, I was keen on the Wilro as well, just to get a race under my belt this month, but opted for the hill training instead! - Idiot huh! Why not do Suikerbos on Saturday and the Wilro on Sunday, that will give you a good indication of how you will feel after 2 days in the Panorama...
  9. Hi all... Just want to get an idea of how everyones Panorama training is going (for all of you doing it - that is). I am feeling good and very happy with the progress I have made over the last month, but the real test comes this weekend, 2 laps around Suikerbos Rand on both Saturday and Sunday! So 230km's of Suikerbos - Eish!!! Next week I start tapering off on the training, but will still do at least 4 days riding, and the week the Panorama starts, I will just do 1 session on the Tuesday to keep the legs going... Happy training... Clint
