Rode Specialized for a very long time and found their warranty claims handled in a quick and very efficient way. No problems.

No he made it for me. The bike used to be a silver XTC. I wanted something different and I asked for a unique piece of artwork. And as you can see it looks fantastic.

Did my first race when I was 11 years old and have on a bike ever since. 31 years later I honestly do not think it is trying to fit in with the trend.

I read some of the replies last night and thought about it. This morning I got on my bike with no Heart rate monitor and no distance nor time in mind. With me that is a very big no no. Took some money for coffee and of I went. The idea was to just ride for the enjoyment of it. Well what an eye opener. 5hrs later I get home and I have to admit it must have been one of the best rides I had in a very long time. I just want to say thank you to all those who gave ideas and advice.

Seems I have lost all my motivation to ride my bike. How does one go about getting motivated again?

People have the ability to be cruel and heartless towards other people. They go through life with only one thing on their mind and that is me me me. They talk big act like idiots and think the world owes them everything. Those people are easy to spot and everybody avoids them. Then you get people that will give the shirt of his back if he feels that you need it more than him. The unsung hero that silently goes about his daily life without any airs or graces. These people are difficult to spot as they stay out of the limelight and never ask or demand recognition. People like these are not folklore nor are they a myth. They do exist. Wayne you are one of those people that myths and folklore are about. The silent gentleman with an absolute heart of gold. Your actions speak louder than any words. You see the problem and tackle it head on and do so without any prodding needed. You Sir are the Guardian Angel sitting on Fire's shoulder. Your actions today has made you one of the most respected people on this forum. Natural Born Down to earth slayer of the problems that people have. May you Sir Wayne be blessed for you are the myth and folklore we talk about. May you be treated with the same dignity and respect you showed towards Fire. I have never met you but it is with the utmost sincerity that I say I have huge RESPECT for you. It's called defuming. Depending on the fuel that was in the tank. Diesel tanks can be welded without any defuming. As fuel tankers have diesel and petrol in the tanks defuming is the safe way to go to prevent problems. Welding a dirty tanks though does have its problems as is not advised.
