That is why I gave up vitality! Discovery Health are trying to make money from us thru stupid programmes or other companies.....
Can't wait for information....
I am also keen to go for test ride... Let me know when?
Oh no! she was a good rider....
Can't believe that lots of carbon 29ers are not available in SA yet?
Are we behind or sleepy?
Trek Trek My bike is Trek!
I think it is good idea to have CSA licence to be on the Hubsa because they have all our details.....
I have been bonked lots of times in years back in marathons, canoeing, cycling and ironman! You only get bonked, when you put too hard too early, or not drinking enough, or not eating enough, or going too far....
Learned my lessons.... Bonked makes your minds to go out of focus... Best treatment to get over bonked, stop immediately and eat enough, drink enough and come back slowly.. You will be fine...
I do have Nissan 1400 bakkie for 22 years and I have tried lots of different ways with canopy, roof racks, bicycle racks on towbars.
At the moments I just leave one bicycle lie flat on rubber mats, no problems...
If I was you, I will install alumnium runners for security purposes and put roof rack on top of it.
You can have 2-3 bikes on it with enough space for bags and spare wheels and etc....
I often ride there and it is beatiful ride. It is better to ride in the early the morning when the road is quiet.
I think the road is safe, but some section the road is quite narrow. Just keep your eyes open...
You need to change your logo, if you say bye to Niner.... Ha! ha!
If you stay in Pretoria, the people will admire yout bike, if you change to blue colour...
Enjoy it!! Give us news in 4 months time
It depends on how you ride.....
Last year I rode in the league with clinchers and only complete 2 out of 5 races.
This year I completed all the league races with tubbies.
It is strange, but I just make sure I stay away from edge of road and pump more than 9bar on tubbies.
I am very happy with tubbies and just remember to put some stans in it to avoid punctures...
I notice that lots of pros are using powertap to add weight, so that they are on limits..
Andy still won TDF this year Anyway! Contador will be banned....
I agree with GrumpyOldGuy and I felt the same way... Next time, bring tape recorder to prove them, but the salesman will be gone by then....
I get cross when the manufactuers use "life" time quarantee, but they print small writing like 3mnths for paint work and 5years for frame... I noticed when they replaced my frame because the paint peeled off after 2 mnths.. Luckily under 3 mths.... They must stop saying "life time" I never believe it, that is why I have bike insurance, in case they don't cover it....
What do you mean his sister is dirty? In bed or taking cocaine?
I understand your problem and I know lots of bike shop are not bothered to repair it. I use stan like MTB tubleless and it works well in small cut, but if the cut is big, throw it away.
Tough luck! Rather use cheaper tubbies tyres, so that you can afford to replace it...
Be careful when you buy from overseas because if something goes wrong, you will have to send it back where you bought it. Rather buy it in local because Garmin SA will support you...
I bought mine from Eastern Cape MTB for R2900 (only R500 more to have peace of minds)
Saw in Cyclelab website, it goes for R2900.....
My wish list is that everybody need to focus to God's work, not just material lists...
We can't just complain about CSA licence and we need to put more money to get our riders to the World Champs..
I hate when you get selected to ride for SA and you must still pay for flight or etc.... You deserve to go free
because you worked hard to get there....
They had to make sure if there is enough water and drinks along the road and at the finish.
Also to avoid last minutes troubles (running out of numbers, time etc)
