I just heard that in early February next year the council will start to repair the main road between Muizenburg and Fish Hoek and they will close this road for 16months. I am not sure if it sure. That means that we must cycle up to Boyes Drive at by-pass. Tough Argus!!!!!

We cannot blame WT or PPA for not getting our results quickly because we were supposed to renew membership fee in July and I noticed lots of people do it in the last minutes. So the PPA have to update the information before putting the results up. We must learn to be patient.

Ja, weightweenies don't have 2008 models. I am not worried about 10g, but 0,5kg and the price makes a big differences.

It does not make sense to me because if they give you the price of the bicycles and we don't know if the dealers put heavier or cheaper component that we don't see or pick up, so that they can make fat profit. If the manufactuers advertise their complete bicycles, they could weigh themselves and place +-kg in catalogue.

What about Giant, Felt and others?

I don' t understand why bicycle manufacturers don't put the weight of the bicycles on the catalogue or website. I find the weight and the cost of the bicycles are important to the buyers! Any reasons or comments!!!

I am confused with chain and cassettes because in all the years back I always replace both once the chain start to slip often. One guy told me to replace chain every 3 months, Other guy told me to replace chain every +-1500km. For me, it does not make any sense because it cost me more to replace chain often than both. Last year I cycled 9000km with one chain and cassette. Any comments or ideas!!!
