I also got it from Deal Extreme and it took 3 weeks to deliver here. Paid R608 for it and they delivered for free. I had to pay R107 for vat and customs. It is far better than Hope Vision 1 and Sigma Karma Pro.... I am very happy with it and thinking of ordering another one as back-up....

It is very tough and last year it was perfect weather, but on the year before it was so muddy and I struggled to change the gears. There are some single tracks and jeep tracks. Lots of climbing.....

Soft tail is for comfort and long ride like sani or Epic. Hard tail is for fast and short ride and lightweight...

At the expo, they gave us wrong free livestrong band. They could give us black one instead of yellow one.

I am not sure if the government or council are doing something about how to make the road safer. They talks too much, but nothing is done. Example:- Look at the main road between Muizenberg and Fish hoek. They are busy repairing the road, but no cycling paths yet??? How many cyclists use that road?? I feel they should add extra line for cyclist, if they repair or build new road....

I did sub 3hrs in the Argus with Gator skin tyres before. Not much difference! just your legs & minds.....

I agree that the ladies must race on their own. Last year in the Argus, lots of ladies opened the gap of the bunch which makes the race harder. If the ladies want to compete in the world, they must be able to race on their own. (push into limits without any help)
