Just cleared all up. Collecting my parcel at Cape mail today. Ordered 3 items. @ long sleeve jerseys one cycling short. With shipping R850 went of my credit card. Total import duties and taxes are R475. Which makes the total R1325. So that is R440 per item. I still think that is not bad. Would of been much better without SARS!!!! Ill post about the quality and size later this afternoon. Will collect over lunch time.

Black is not a good choice of colour for MTB. Scratches shows very quickly. My next bike will be white.

Pump the tyre to max pressure. This will alow the bead to pop out evenly. If u follow it now you will notice it does not run uniform. had the same problem. Fixed now by infalting them hard the deflate to desired pressure. Never be 100% true but they are about 98% true.

The info I have from the net and from riders is that the American classic wheelset are the best for the money you pay (+-R4000). Weigh together just over 1.5kg and is strong enough for a 85kg rider. Going lighter on wheels compromises the strengt of the wheel. Get them in white, black and a combination of the white and black. just my 2c

Just went ahead and placed an order as well - 2 long sleeve jerseys and a short pants. All came to R870 incl shipping. Even if all import duties and taxes cost me R500 it will still be a bargain! Hi there Finally my eyes opened with a bang to the world of MTB riding! I have done many road cycling. Lost interest the last 3 years. Dad talked me into buying a MTB and trying that. I live in Oude Westhof right next to Magic Forest, and cant believe I missed out so many years. Been riding it for last 2 weeks now but need to start riding with someone who has experience. Not 100% sure which routes to take etc (not fully using the single tracks and full route yet) Very keen to ride. Allso would want to start riding futher distances and flatter gravel roads. Magic seems very hard on the bike - good technical stuff which I need to master still. Thanks Karl 0843507272
