I have the Silverback Storm 2013 model also. Completed the Wine 2 Whales with it no issues. I have a 2.1 Maxis Crossmark on the rear. It does leave small marks on both sides of the frame. Recon it wont cause any problems. My team mate has the exact same bike which has done about 4000km to date easy with no issues. Also rubs a bit on frame on up stays. U can get the m now for R26000 at Cycle lab!! Best value for a good looking bike. Really a excellent ride. And good back up from local agent in Cape Town.

Just came back from the Ride event. Conditions were very very good. Few mud patches, bike only required a wash and lube on all 3 days. The Race guys should have the exact same conditions. Was my very first stage race and had a blast. Will return again and again. The food and atmosphere was top class.

Just cleared all up. Collecting my parcel at Cape mail today. Ordered 3 items. @ long sleeve jerseys one cycling short. With shipping R850 went of my credit card. Total import duties and taxes are R475. Which makes the total R1325. So that is R440 per item. I still think that is not bad. Would of been much better without SARS!!!! Ill post about the quality and size later this afternoon. Will collect over lunch time.

I just phoned Cape mail and gave them my overseas tracking number. The lady told me my package has been shelved by SARS and i now have to fax the invoice to them. I see one big imort duty being added here!!!! ****. Happened before importing rc goods. So Marius give them a ring. Maybe u lucky and it is on its way to your local post office.
