  1. I've got my eye on one locally - just waiting for the right time, and the rest of my weapons to arrive.... Jokes aside - a great bike! Don't let it go.
  2. Tell your brother I do not like him. Hen's teeth at the moment, but I am patient.
  3. A cool Lemond Bottecchia tribute - now I have to do some work.
  4. LOL! Perfect forum for that!
  5. These guys rock! Check out the website - would love to own one of their bikes.
  6. Another fave: Hampsten Strada Bianca
  7. Looking forward to this!!
  8. Grant Petersen changed the way I ride. I have comfortable seats, wider profile tyres, higher spoke count wheels, and gearing that actually suits me. I also ride steel bikes again, because I like them, and they like my butt. He's also responsible for this: One of my all-time bucket-list bikes.
  9. If you build it, they will come..... Just build it well. Did you get your stuff from Ceeway? What about the flux and a other stuff - can you get the silver rods etc locally? Sorry about all the questions - I have the Paterek manual, Chimonas' book and have downloaded just about all of Littlefish's tutorials - dead keen to do it too. Build a couple of frames, see how they go, then spread the knowledge.... I would love to get involved in a framebuilding collective. Good luck, and loads of pics, please!
  10. I would like to know if the poster knows how to braze... If he does (and well), he may be very busy...

  12. Bamboo/resin lefty fatbike made in this guy's basement - True Story!!!!!
  13. Austro-Daimler - I think this bike is gorgeous. Anyone know where I could get a brass bell that would fit oversize bars/stem?
  14. This is what mine looked like a few months ago.... It looks waaay better now! I love CX bikes - ultimate in versatility.
  15. One of my faves: KINFOLK
  16. From the retro thread on the Hub....
  17. No way! It's a Ritchey Swisscross from a thread on MTBR about 'cross machines on singletrack. This type of bike excels on certain types of trail. Beautiful bike in beautiful scenery!
  18. Cool. Going to try it. Thanks.
