I must say, I felt for you while we were riding. I had all my wet weather kit on, including my fantastic thick boot covers and I was cold, those fingers of your must have taken at least 3 beers to warm up!

Don't worry mate, I can bring you my wet clothes, you can put them on and feel part of the action!!

I've just found another good reason for a short ride today, I went to move my bike and found my front wheel is flat. Riding in the rain is one thing, standing around fixing punctures would have not been a happy place.

No, this time body fat needed to be covered by a good waterproof layer!!

All I can say to this, is that I'm quite glad the ride was cancelled! After our little ride to Rwaonville, I was freezing and very wet. Had that gone on for 190Km, I think I would have seriously been an unhappy lad!!

I have a pair of @ttitude full gloves, which are okay, but I've been riding in Cape Town the last few mornings with temps down to 7deg and they've not kept me warm
