Spoke cards were originally laminated cards inserted in the spokes to identify participants in Alleycat races. Because these races are informal and inherently dangerous they are not really legal. These cards were placed in the spokes of the bicycle, and as a result, less obvious than say numbers on the racers backs which meant attracting less attention.

Are these rims 27" or 700c? How much are you asking for a set of rims?

I also own a DHC frame, but unfortunately it seems that it broke before I got it and the person who did the "welding" pretty much ruined the bottom bracket shell and the top tube. The thread on the fork steerer is also completely stripped.
