  1. I have a height of 1,86m/6,2 feet. Trust me an XL will be a better fit if you have a long inseam. I bought a cannondale and although it's not a Trek with a 60mm stem and 760mm wide bars its an incredible comfortable ride. Your saddle to handlebar drop will be less and that alone is reason enough.
  2. When building up my Dale I decided to buy an integrated handlebar from Trifox. I settled on the IMX Elevate carbon bar with a 60mm stem. This model comes with an integrated mount for your cycling computer and a go pro style mount for a cycling light. I decided to cut the bar down to 760mm and coming from a riser type allu bar I can vouch for definitely an improvement of gravel road vibration on my hands. I can ride for hours on end using this bar and my hands do not get sore. I have since also bought a carbon seatpost from Trifox and their products are quality. PS: And the looks is killer...
  3. Disappointing ,but nessasary. I remember 2009 wind pumping MTN tent, start finish banners etc all blew away and the race still went ahead. I finished in one piece ,but going down chappies was no joke... Light bike=kite :-) PS:I would have preferred the race cancelled that year
  4. I think I'm in Luv I should have ordered some more... Did a 2 hour ride and they are nice and comfy. I just put them in hot water and used gloves and lotsa elbow grease and the suckers slipped right on. http://i64.tinypic.com/25jca3q.jpg
  5. Sjo it's sooo cold in PE it's been tough going
  6. RIP so saddened by this horrible news
  7. I just placed my order with www.easygis.co.za and all I can say is if judging by the way they handled me as a customer I expect service of the highest level. Not 100% sure about waranty policy ,but service is very prompt and up to date.
  8. Awesome pictures you lucky bugger! Revved me up for this mornings ride around marine :-)
  9. Watch the tennis instead :-) No coverage if that's true I'll be sad indeed...
  10. RIP Smitty and condolences to your family....
  11. Had the same happened to me during a race where one of the nuts holding the carbon cage fell out and my crank arm collected the skew cage ripping the rivnut out of the frame. - one carbon bottle cage and a nice round hole in my expensive carbon frame :-( A German by the name of Arno Seyfert of customworks composites repaired my frame so that I could not even see the work that has been done.
