  1. Riding on the yellow line by myself avoiding glass in the cycling lane. This as at 9 this morning no on coming traffic. No big bunch just one cyclist. I was not taking up the whole road and in no way impeding the gentlemen in question. So if I piss anyone off sooooo much at least stop and have a conversation with me. To try take me out is a cowardly act. By the biiiig motorist in his biiiiig car.
  2. Hi all If anyone has any idea who or where I can get hold of the driver of a dark blue Daihatsu "combi" with yellow lighting bolt decals on it... I would be grateful. Would like to return the favour of riding within cm's of me and showing me ungentle-men like hand gestures. Thanks Boris
  3. What a crock of ****. Not sure what pisses me off more. The fact that the Big Brother doping agencies see the need to spend money on checking the fun riders or the fact that so many have such a high esteem of themselves to even judge. Cycling has become the whipping boy of the sports world. Do me a favour do tests on the Comrades Marathon field. There are more athletes there that start the race with pills in pockets than Dischem has in any of their branches. The fact that names get released without consultation to the blood thirsty media is beyond reproach. Barry if I ever get to meet you, I'll shake your hand and have a beer with you. Good on you. And don't apologise for anything. No one is squeaky clean. NO ONE! For those that think they are... Cheating on your taxes lately? Thought so. Haven't paid your traffic fines. Probably. Broken any speed limits. Yeah that too. So close this stream and carry on with live. SAIDS and Cycling SA I really hope you guys think about all of this and concentrate on the athletes that make money out of the sport instead of those paying tens of thousands to simply participate. Each to their own. I use coffee to give me a boost. Ban that too. Chops! Oh wait didn't the previous Comrades winner test positive for A and B samples and then get awarded due to process not being followed??? Crazy world we live in where 16 pages of responses are required for something this stupid that impacts no one.
  4. Thanks for the info. Will give these guys a shout and see if we can sort this out.
  5. Hi Everyone Was wondering if there is anyone out there that has had success in getting Super Record 11 setup and tuned so that it runs quietly and efficiently? I am in the Fourways area. I can set it so it works really smoothly in the small blade but as soon as moving to the big blade the bottom half of the cluster skips jumps and generally behaves and sounds like a tractor Any suggestions help appreciated Cheers
  6. Just to add to the fun.... My 29'er looking clean for a change.
  7. Hi all I have recently switched over to MTB riding. Having stacks of fun. I was wondering if experienced MTB'ers could garnish some advice in regards to brake pads. Coming down a steep descent the other day it seems I cooked the back brake. I was not riding the brake either. As I said still new to MTB so when it got a bit to hectic I used the back brake. It did pretty much nothing. When I eventually stopped I tested the brake and it the wheel turned on. Took a couple of minutes to cool down then they worked again. Any suggestions? Not using brakes on downhills is not a suggestion Cheers
