  5. Sad fact. Ruined what was actually a very cool ride

  8. I know the one-ridden a few times. He knows the others, first time I met em today
  9. Well, they say the serving of breakfast ends at 1100, so fair game after that 😭

  11. A very awesome 95km ride was detroyed after a very unpleasant discussion about the bill, which I think was unecessary. Just wanted to get a feel of what the hub felt. Post ride we got to where we parked, and went in to have a refresher. Five gents, two who do not drink alcohol. Two breakfasts (R120), one burger (R105), Lamb dish (R210) and a steak (R145). The alcohol split between the three ways (beers, tonic water, Jameson/Glenfidich) R256. Bill was R956, plus tip, R1056. The problem came when the alcohol drinkers divided the bill 250 between the three of them, leaving R306 between the two non-drinkers. The comments after that went really sideways, and the day (in my view) was ruined. Hubbers. How do you split post ride meals? What methods do you use? What is peaceful?
  12. Find someone coming down to bring them, always less hassle
  13. Wait this is a Shimano thread. Am lost
  14. 🤣🤣🤣 Don’t worry, far away financially for us all. But it does seem a bit more expensive than here, have a similar model with less Km? Or are vans more expensive there.
  15. I have solved the problem: Is this far from you? Lol. 2017 Volkswagen Amarok Utility for sale in Dunedin, Otago | AutoTrader NZ
  16. Yes you can. People usually dont because they dont want to pay for the rack for five years with residual but I think it really depends on the person...
  17. I've noticed thw WC chaps can actually have a full debate about trails, while we keep circing the same GP ones. Maybe we need to all get down there and ride those, get a break from what we have..
