A very awesome 95km ride was detroyed after a very unpleasant discussion about the bill, which I think was unecessary. Just wanted to get a feel of what the hub felt. Post ride we got to where we parked, and went in to have a refresher. Five gents, two who do not drink alcohol. Two breakfasts (R120), one burger (R105), Lamb dish (R210) and a steak (R145). The alcohol split between the three ways (beers, tonic water, Jameson/Glenfidich) R256. Bill was R956, plus tip, R1056. The problem came when the alcohol drinkers divided the bill 250 between the three of them, leaving R306 between the two non-drinkers. The comments after that went really sideways, and the day (in my view) was ruined. Hubbers. How do you split post ride meals? What methods do you use? What is peaceful?

Yes you can. People usually dont because they dont want to pay for the rack for five years with residual but I think it really depends on the person...

Dear trail builders, please remember as you repair, flatten, and make trails easier for the e-bike and gravel crew, thats there were those who supported and came and liked them the way they were. Also ok to add onto the trail to accomodate, not make them easier. Just a thought, with love.

You make some serious points here. Wait, whose to say the dude didnt kill them both and is framing her? Seemed to be very willing to help the police.

I have so many questions about the decision to arm someone else, and why. Maybe he had his reasons but I think it's safe to assume he knew her temprament before handing over the weapon? Very sad indeed.

That's the thing. And then you find even after she got away with the crime he doesnt commit to her either way.
