  2. If anyone here on this thread is looking for a company to assist with moving money over and you are looking for a referral please let me know. My wife has financially migrated and released all of her retirement annuities and policies and we received excellent service and a very very competitive price from a company based here.
  3. Prepare to be photobombed. I am spending a few days in Queenstown and Milford this coming weekend. First time on the South Island. Super excited.
  4. if it was me I wouldn't bother. I had the normal three. No heart rate. That was my main reason for upgrading.
  5. its a little cheaper out here. Only around R11,000 for the 5x. Jacob hasn't worked his magic with our ROE
  6. i have pretty small wrists. But it doesn't feel very big. I had a Breitling and it looks/feels very similar. The map functionality is very very cool. Only on the 5x.
  7. the photo is a bit misleading. It doesn't look overly big on the wrist. She had a forerunner 235 before and hated it. She loves the 5s
  8. This is the wifeys 5s
  9. its gone crazy up here man. I actually had to use my umbrella.
  10. I ordered the 5x. Want the mapping functionality. A little bit concerned about the wrist size. I currently use the 3 sapphire and it's already a bit on the large side. Wifey is getting the 5s tomorrow. Will post pics of that one as well.
  11. Just got the call. My 5 pre order has arrived and i can pick it up tomorrow. Actually quite excited.
  12. Stitches have to stay for a couple of weeks. Interesting characters on the mid day bus in Auckland.
  13. Things are easier in a developed nation. Today I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon to do a quick checkup and remove the stitches holding my eyelid shut. I can't drive yet. Pain meds make me a bit loopy. Gonna take the loser cruiser (bus) into town. $3.15. That's half of my two hour parking bill if I have to drive. Appointment is free. Medication is free. I will never complain about paying tax in this country.
  14. thats from a fire. Long story.
  15. yeah. That concerns me as well. I am hoping to begin the prosthetic fitting in about six weeks if everything heals up nicely.
  16. ha ha. They did ask if I want to keep it. I thought of using it as a short term babysitter. Placing it on the kitchen counter and taking the wife out for dinner and telling the kids to behave because daddy is watching. But no, I declined.
  17. i have had so many surgeries since the he of three. Honestly, I am glad to be rid of it.
  18. Wow. Can't believe I took a selfie. That's a new low for me.
