  1. Anyone driving up to the Gravel Race early Saturday morning from Johannesburg? looking for a lift - will pay for gas!
  2. A few people who have popped into the shop have seen it but I want to wait until we are a bit further a long with the Ti model before we show everybody as it's got a few new ideas on it that we may or may not use etc.
  3. We have built a Tiger (see what I did there) but we have had to use some mock up parts on it and I haven't risked thrashing it really hard yet as if the temp parts break they could damage the frame - and it is soooo nice! We are pushing hard to get the correct parts delivered so we can thrash it properly.

  5. Hi Charmichael, We have the new SunRace XD Driver 12 speed cassettes 10-50t for R1990
  6. Hi Face Plant, It could be that the frame has a 36t largest chainring clearance limit. A 36 oval varies between 34t and 38t in size and might contact the chainstays. See if you can do a test fit, it might clear the chainstays.
  7. Hi Slowbee, The Beer Racing Eccentric BB is for either BB30 or PF30 BBs (press fit BBs with no thread). They are USD $160 each. Their website is here: https://shop.beercomponents.com/ Problem solvers also make the same sort of thing. If you have a threaded BB (BSA) the only one I could think of off the top of my head is the Trick Stuff one which is around R3250.
  8. Hi Bobbo, Something like this would be very cool. I have a Beer Racing eccentric BB for BB30 which works well but this is threaded so in theory no creaking, ever. The Trick Stuff one is around R3,250 which is quite a bit! It would be great to make something like this though... I was out on 'that' frame this morning, still love that bike!
  9. One of these will do the "Trick" it's an eccentric BB for BSA BB's (I think I posted this before somewhere?): P.S. Don't look at the price... "Trickstuff wouldn’t be Trickstuff without such highlights as the Exzentriker. This is the first and worldwide unique eccentric bottom bracket that can be mounted in normal BSA bottom bracket housings and will accept any conventional 24 millimeter bottom bracket spindle (e.g. Shimano Hollowtech II and many others). It allows infinite chain adjustment for single-speed bikes or gear hub bikes (e.g. Rohloff) and dispenses with chain tighteners or adjustable drop outs." http://www.trickstuff.de/en/products/exzentriker_KL.php http://www.trickstuff.de/bilder_PRODUKTE/EXZENTRIKER/Exzentriker_Schwarz_630.jpg http://www.trickstuff.de/bilder_PRODUKTE/EXZENTRIKER/Exzentriker3.jpg
  10. Beer Components ship to SA. http://beercomponents.com/ I have one of the 2010 BB30 models, still using it (Phil Wood Bearings).
  11. Or a Lenz Milk Money... http://lenzsport.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/milkmoney-green-2000x1100px.jpg
  12. The X01 DH 10 speed RD comes in a medium cage, should work in a 1 x 10 in the same way a Zee medium cage works. There is also a X01 DH 1x10 trigger shifter:
