Hi, Im in the process of buying a new MTB, however I am unsure of what size I should get. I am about 180cm in height, I am also 17 meaning I probably have a little more to go. The bike comes in a small, medium or large. I figure these are standard (s,m,l) not specific to the bike.

Hope somebody can help here as I am struggling. Does anybody know the approximate prices of the Specialized RockHopper and the Specialized HotRock.

Ok I have had a look at the GT and the Merida TFS 300. Has anybody got any experience with this Merida? And which would be the better bike?

Ok, the lockout is not entirely necessary, I just thought it was a good idea. I'm not interested in second-hand, I really want my own new bike. I was trying to investigate if there was any decent Specialized bikes available, still unsure though??

I have done quite a bit of research concerning these "powerbands", there are alot of opinions out there and there are equal opinions on both sides of the argument. Many of my friends use them and swear they work, but i'm unconvinced. Has anybody got one of these? Does it work?
