  1. Hey guys. My wife is having a Pic Nic for her birthday on sat at Zoo Lake, my cousin and I thought it would be awesome to ride there from My place in Morninghill (Bedfordview), anyone know any possible routes/Singletrack (imposible) or a rad place we should include in the ride? its about 15-17 km we will be on MTBs. also any precautions. (JHB after all) thanks.
  2. legendary. thank you!
  3. But it doesnt work. balls.
  4. A link, that is exactly what I need, thanks mate.
  5. Hey guys. I am taking the family to Sanbonani for a week in December, taking the road bike and the mtbikes anyone know of any trails around this area? It is situated just out side of the Paul Kruger Gate so really anywhere around there will be great! Suggestions of any other activities wouldnt hurt.
  6. I see, pretty cool old buildings.
  7. Rode Modder yesterday morning as part of a brick session for training, nice park, really open and hilly which makes it feel like you are in the country, the farm has a strange vibe to it especially with those storage units or bomb shelters, and with the burnt grass it felt like we were cycling through poland. Any idea what those big warehouse/bomb shelter things are for? cant wait till the route is made a lot more technical, used to Rietvlei and need more of a challenge. (Japanese Gardens and some "danger" decents would be awesome! Ricky will the park be open next Monday? its a public holiday? also how does one organise a season ticket? or multi entry pass?
  8. my current baby.

  13. Morning Yesterday i decided to ride Kyalami race track with a couple of mates of mine, so I arrived like a tool on my MTB with Fat Nobblies. My mates are all roadies, anyway havent done much distance training or road training and i really enjoyed it even on the MTB. I had a Seriously flat back tyre and wasted 20 min trying to pump the stupid thing up.(eventually got a bomb). So chasing light i only did 4 laps so thats 16kms in about 40 min not good at all but atleast its a start. I will def be riding there soon i think its a great way to train and a great environment! plus 10 bucks for a safe ride, why not?
  14. I probably have the widest feet in the world and i ride with spez, no problem!
  15. I think we can all be happy we dont live in Europe, the cost of "outdoor" activities is insane!
