  1. Aah ha. I see where the problem is now. Supper and its related nibblies. One snack later on and its goodnight to the required deficit.
  2. same predicament... 1/2 hr gym this morning, 1 hr cycling just now. never actually recorded each item i monch until today, and i've eaten through my "standard weekend day" (quite healthy), and now am at 30% of what i should be eating. Hmm. I have read that one needs to eat small and often, and especially to make sure the body doesn't go into starvation mode (like thats possible with me........ lol) but this is going to feel like over-eating. Think I read somewhere that the recommended deficit is around 500 cal / day for a 500 g / week weight loss.
  3. livestrong.com has quite a nice food tracker - also available for mobile phones (at least b/berry and iphone that I saw). The b/berry app seems to work great, and not too much of a pain in the ass to quickly enter stuff. Nice database of food too.
  4. I can eat often, and usually fruit etc., during the day, but when it comes to around this time at night I start getting all nibbly. If I could stop that, the next few kg's would/should be easy.
  5. Also joining this one: Current: 81 kg Height: 176 cm Target: 75 kg
  6. Has anyone perhaps tried this? http://www.swissstop.ch/SwissStopSilencer.aspx Curious, as I've got a rear Shimano that squeals until I really grab a handful of them.
  7. Cool. Thanks Yep, also just chatted to the gentleman at the entrance hut there this morning. Definitely going to do that. Sheesh it was nice at Jonkers this morning. Just threatened a bit of drizzle, but else cool and everything wet from the night. F. (must figure out how to get emailed when someone posts a reply to a forum I mailed in... came back here to mention that I spoke to the chap etc., and everyone's already done it )
  8. Hi Getting my 1500-D tomorrow... yeesh, just one more night to get through! Am slightly worried that the ProRide will want to grab over that last cable guide though... Anyone of you guys have a 120 and transport it on a 591? I guess I'll see tomorrow afternoon, but maybe an answer will ease the sleep. I'd better take some protecty clothy thingy anyway. Cheers, Fish
  9. Hi Cassie - thanks man. Cool active forum this! I'll try and phone around this week, and see what's what. Will post back here.
  10. Hi Everyone I heard somewhere that it is possible to get a permit that allows annual access to Jonkershoek and other MTO plantations. Could not find much info on the web, and the MTO email addresses don't seem to work right now. Where does one get a permit, if they are still available? What is the arrangement - is one then allowed to ride say at Jonkershoek without the R25/day fee? Cheers, FF.
