Hey Guys Ive entered the 97km race, should I have entered the 114km ? I do all the road races including Argus and 94.7. Just called the organisers of the Argus and they say both the 97km and 114km races are both counted for seeding.

So I finished it in 1 hour 16 , which i thought was not bad for the first time! My running sucked tho! Still cant understand why they start the men at the back and we have to swim through every one! But what a great cardio workout! I have entered for this Sundays one at The Islands Estate.
I normally use Cycle LAb but as I was shopping close to Cajees Fourwars, I thought I would stop in last Saturday. I wanted a new battery for my spedo which had gone flat. Cajees put in a new battery for R30 which I thought was ok. But then i noticed that my distance reading was not working and asked them to help while I was paying. They took the bike into the back and the mechanic later came out. The one shop assistant said that my magnet was faulty on the front wheel and that they had to change it and the cost would be R60. I thought that was ok even though i found it weird that it was picking up how fast the bike was going. I went to test it outside and i still had the same problem (it would pick up the speed but not the distance). I went back inside to tell them the problem again and noticed that I still had the same magnet on my bike despite them charging me for a new one and telling me that they had changed it. I flipped out! But anyways to cut along story short they managed to get my spedo working and managed to screw me at the same time. Im not worried about R60 but I am worried how they blatently lie. I have never ever experienced that at Cycle Lab.
What do you think I should wear a wetsuit or not? Its my first TRI race. Will it be faster wit the wetsuit or without taking into account the transition ?
i know its off this topic but does the Energade Triathlon at The Islands Estate (Harties) still use the Harties Dam water or is it a seperate lake/dam system ?
